I did not have Rotel on hand, so subbed with a can of petite diced tomatoes. No mustard powder, subbed with a generous squirt roughly a Tbsp of regular mustard. I recommend you make sure to toast those little gnocchis and it is a MUST to broil that cheese on top, such magnificent flavors and textures.

I promise, this is a grand slam homerun? Help: do you boil the Delallo gnocchi per the box instructions before you toast them in the pan? This can only be described as utterly amazing. I mean, wow! I had to use plain diced tomatoes because my children are spicy pansies, but it was still super, duper good! Another incredible recipe! These are amazing. Made this for dinner tonight. Directions were spot-on. Made it as directed and it was delicious and looked just like your pictures. I found this yesterday morning and made it last night. It was soooo good but to me tasted more like a Mexican dish than cheeseburger. Really yummy though. Wow, this was delicious!

I never, ever leave comments and I was compelled to do so. I forgot to get cream so I used 2 oz. I was getting so tired of the blandness of family friendly recipes that all taste the same, this was such a pleasant surprise, lots of flavor, a little heat could use Rotel with habaneros for more excitement and quick!

    This was a great change of pace! My husband was dreading it but ended up going back for seconds! I used a whole pound of hamburger and am glad I did. I think next time, though, I will reduce the seasonings — was a bit too salty for me. The first time I made this, I shared it with my coworkers. It was a hit! One of them literally licked the bowl clean :. This will definitely become a regular meal at my house! Thanks for the awesome recipes! I made this tonight and it was delicious!

    My husband asked for this dish to stay in our recipe arsenal. I love gnocchi and love cheeseburger type casseroles so I was super excited about this. I must have done something wrong because mine was very runny any advice is welcome. I ended up draining some of the liquid before adding the cheese and it was still too runny for my taste.

    I did double the hamburg and I was happy I did that, although next time I will use mini-gnocchi, I think they would be better. I did add some red pepper flakes to the meat while browning and added some jalapeno cheddar along with regular cheddar and it gave it a nice little kick.

    Next time I might add some Velveeta to make it a bit more creamy. Also, I added some bacon bits but not enough because I never tasted them. I may have added them too soon, next time I will sprinkle them on before the top layer of cheese.

    I omitted the heavy cream and used a high quality sharp cheddar — I also drained the rotel. Instead of bacon bits, I chopped up some bacon and fried it with my gnocchi and it was delicious. Wow, just wow! My stomach just growled. I am pinning this recipe and will try it out soon. Have a great weekend! Tried this recipe last night….
